Application of the HemeChip Point of Care Device for Real-time Monitoring of Hemoglobin S Levels in Chronically Transfused Patients with Sickle Cell Disease

Description: The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and performance characteristics of the HemeChip point of care test for real-time monitoring of sickle hemoglobin (Hb S) levels in SCD patients receiving chronic transfusion therapy.
Inclusion: Individuals with sickle cell disease receiving regularly scheduled red cell transfusions at BCHO.
